David Pastrnak had his helmet knocked off during a fight with Matthew Tkachuk late in his Boston Bruins’ ugly loss to the Florida Panthers in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference second-round playoff series on Wednesday night.

The Panthers hammered the Bruins 6-1 at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, to even the series at one. Boston scored the first goal of the game, but Florida responded with three goals in the second period and three more in the third.

The Bruins were upset after Florida scored to make it 6-1. Several fights broke out simultaneously, resulting in 10 players getting ejected.

Later, Pastrnak and Tkachuk were seen talking on their respective benches. They agreed to fight, and Tkachuk got the best end of things against Pastrnak, who is an inexperienced fighter. Tkachuk knocked off Pastrnak’s helmet and then got in a few extra blows.

Both players received 10-minute misconducts and were sent off the ice.

The game couldn’t have gone much better for the Panthers after they lost 5-1 at home in Game 1. Not only did they return the favor and knock Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman out of the game, but they also got the best end of Boston in the fights.

The series is tied 1-1 and heads to Boston for Game 3 on Friday.
